เป็นเรื่องของนักข่าวสาวณิช(อุษามณี ไวทยานนท์) กับนักธุรกิจหนุ่มไฟแรงปวีร์(ธนา สุทธิกมล) ณิชมีพี่สาวชื่อ ภรณี ซึ่งเป็นเมียน้อยของไพรุต พ่อของเพียงเพ็ญ พ่อของปวีร์คือสารนาถ แม่ของปวีร์(รุ่งทิพย์)ป่วยเป็นโรคจิตต้องเข้าโรงพยาบาลเพราะทนความเจ้าชู้ ของสารนาถไม่ไหว แต่เธอเปิดใจกับแม่ชีศรีสุดา
เรื่องที่ทำให้ณิช ต้องมาผัวพันกับสารนาถและปวีร์ เพราะเธอทำข่าวผิด เธอต้องการที่จะขอโทษ สารนาถแค่ถูกขัดขวางโดย ปวีร์เธอมีความมุ่งมั่น ทำให้ในที่สุดเธอก็ได้ขอโทษสารนาถสมใจแล้วเธอก็ลาจากไป
แต่เธอได้มาพบกับสองพ่อลูกอีกครั้งเพราะ เธอเข้าไปเยี่ยมรุ่งทิพย์และรุ่งทิพย์ก็ชอบในความใสซื่อของณิช เพราะณิชมาเยี่ยมรุ่งทิพย์บ่อยๆมำให้อาการของรุ่งทิพย์ดีขึ้นเรื่อยๆ จนทำให้รุ่งทิพย์สามารถกลับมาอยู่บ้านได้ เมื่อสารนาถและปวีร์มารับเธอไม่ยอมกับบ้าน แต่ยอมไปอยู่บ้านณิชแทน เรื่องราวจะเป็นยังไงต่อไป ปวีร์จะยอมรับรักณิชเพราะอะไร
